První soutěž v tangu Indonésie Champion Preeliminaries (ICP) se bude konat v Kutě na Bali od 4. do 7. srpna. Tango festival nabídne také workshopy tance světové úrovně, praxe s World Tango Maestros a soukromé kurzy pro ty, kteří chtějí prohloubit své porozumění a znalosti tohoto fascinujícího tance.
Organizátoři očekávají, že milovníci tanga z celého světa přijedou a zúčastní se akce, která na Bali bude skutečně nezapomenutelná. Tango má svůj původ v ulicích Buenos Aires a je nádherně komplexním tancem, který vyžaduje dovednost, přesnost a vášeň. Takže ať už jste ostřílený milovník tanga nebo prostě někdo, kdo oceňuje taneční umění, tato soutěž bude jistě fascinující podívanou.
Gala večeře festivalu tanga bude obsahovat speciální prezentaci tradičního balijského tance ve spolupráci s mezinárodními tanečníky tanga. Toto jedinečné představení předvede rozmanitost a bohatství kultur zastoupených na festivalu a skutečně podtrhne událost. Místem konání festivalu tanga bude Hotel Kumala Pantai a Padma Resort Legian v Kutě na Bali.
Indonéský šampion Preeliminaries předvede elegantní a smyslný tanec tanga ve všech jeho podobách. Mezi oficiální kategorie patří Tango de Pista (Salon Tango) a Tango Escenario (Stage Tango), ale bude zde i neoficiální kategorie pro Vals, Milonga, Senior a Jack & Jill.
Seznam světově uznávaných mistrů tanga, kteří budou zdobit poroty na nadcházející soutěži v tangu, je působivý. Analia Morales, Gabriel Ponce, Elina Roldan a Jorge Torres jsou některá z velkých jmen přítomných. Hostujícími tanečníky jsou Fernando Carrasco, Lucia Barrios, Alejandro Quaglia, Gennysam Alcantara, Lily Tan, Jang a Jenn Lopez.
ICP, kterou letos představí Ratih Soe Kosasie a Tiara Josodirdjo, přitáhne soutěžící z Malajsie, Singapuru, Bruneje, Filipín, Tchaj-wanu, Jižní Koreje, Japonska, Číny, Vietnamu, Thajska, Nového Zélandu, Austrálie a Indonésie. Ratih Soe Kosasie je profesionální indonéská tanečnice tanga a slouží jako předsedkyně Tango Lovers Jakarta, organizace milovníků tanga, kterou založila v roce 2008.
Tato soutěž má za cíl najít nejlepší tanečníky v regionu a dát jim šanci soutěžit na Mistrovství světa v tangu v Buenos Aires v září 2022.
